As a manager with us, you are an ambassador for a responsible business model, where we use our international purchasing power to make healthy and green choices accessible to everyone. As Deputy Store Manager in Copenhagen, you help create a safe and inspiring everyday life for both your colleagues and the many customers who visit us. You are the Store Manager's closest sparring partner, and through your dedication, you are a crucial piece in running a sustainable and well-functioning store where we reduce food waste and put the community at the center.
Meet your new team
Across our stores in Greater Copenhagen, you will become part of a strong management network and a unique team where we lift together. With us, we know that no one wins alone, and we highly value professional sparring and great team spirit. Regardless of which store you land in, we build our management on trust and security, and we help each other reach the finish line every day. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to a team where you will have ample opportunity to put your own mark on everyday life and develop both the operations and your colleagues.
Your everyday life and development
Your workday will be dynamic and varied. You proactively take part in daily operations and ensure that our processes and concepts are always followed with a focus on quality. You translate the store's goals into meaningful initiatives for the team, delegate tasks based on employees' individual strengths, and naturally step up and assume full responsibility when the Store Manager is absent.
Your professional development
At Lidl, we continuously invest in your professional development. We support you in improving your skills in your current role through courses and education, but we also back you up if you dream of taking new paths – including the opportunity to pursue an international career in Europe's largest retail company.
Our expectations of each other
We believe that good cooperation is built on transparency and mutual respect.
What we expect from you
You have management experience and are driven by a genuine desire to see your team succeed. You bring your curiosity and dedication to the job, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment. You communicate clearly, inclusively, and manage to create strong team spirit and psychological safety among your employees. Most importantly, you are a team player who acknowledges your colleagues' efforts and never forgets the human aspect of your leadership. Our store buzzes with life the most when customers are off work, and therefore you are naturally ready to pitch in and support your team when we need it most – which in practice means at least one weekly evening shift and a minimum of one weekend shift every other weekend.
What you can expect from us
We offer you clear frameworks with the opportunity for a tailored career path. You get a comprehensive package that matches your responsibilities, with a salary of 26,000 – 32,500 DKK gross (depending on experience), a location allowance in Greater Copenhagen of 2,500 DKK, supplements for evening and weekend work, and a pension scheme. You also get the option of health insurance and access to our extensive discount program for travel, shopping, culture, and fitness, among other things.
