About the job 

As a Store Manager, you play a key role in creating a well-structured and welcoming everyday life in the store. You empower your team and create the best conditions for an inviting shopping experience for our customers. Through seamless workflows, you and your dedicated colleagues ensure that the store always looks its best. At the same time, you foster a culture of psychological safety where your employees thrive and get the absolute best support to unleash their full potential.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Managing and distributing daily store operations
  • Taking part in the daily operation of the store, e.g., ordering and restocking goods
  • Training, educating, and motivating your employees in the store
  • Planning activities and work schedules
  • Implementing, analyzing, and optimizing Lidl's store concepts
  • Analyzing and following up on key performance indicators (KPIs) and using them actively to reach the store's goals – including translating KPIs into tangible goals and focus areas
  • Recruiting new employees

About you 

You possibly have management training and have successfully motivated and led a team of employees to create great results. Perhaps you are already a skilled and results-oriented Store Manager or Department Manager with one of our colleagues in the industry, or you have a similar background and the desire to invest yourself and your career in a well-functioning workplace with high ambitions and no limits. Besides taking an active part in daily operations and maintaining the overall overview, we expect that you:

  • Have experience from a similar position
  • Are empathetic, motivating, and have an appreciative management style
  • Act responsibly and can delegate and see tasks through to completion
  • Are results-oriented and have business acumen
  • Are service-minded and can create the framework for great shopping experiences
  • If Danish isn't your first language, we welcome applications from candidates who can communicate effectively in English.
